Live Status & Taxi Transfers

The Chatham Historic Dockyard is an eighty-acre maritime campus situated along the tidal banks of the River Medway. This preserved naval estate is defined by its industrial Georgian and Victorian architecture, including the world’s longest brick-built ropewalk and several massive timber-framed covered slips. The site functions as a museum and film location, housing a permanent collection of three historic warships: a Victorian sloop, a Second World War destroyer, and a Cold War-era submarine. The perimeter is secured by high defensive walls and features 47 scheduled ancient monuments, including the 1704 Commissioner’s House and its associated walled gardens.
